It's an either or question because too many wealthy are not job creators they are tax haven fleers and #WeThePeople fleecers. Unless the #government protects citizens from the #privation by the wealthy, the #citizens will at some point return the "favor" in more definitive ways.
The #reversal of the nation over the last few decades to one #dominatedby an oppressive anti-WeThePeople #wealth funded #political class is destroying the fabric of our society. It's pitting the upper and lower middle classes against the #poor and the #immigrant. This must end.
We have not spent over two #centuries trying to extricate ourselves from the #aristocracy and oligarchy to be subjected once again to wealth distribution back to the top that is fostering pauperism: as in the slave owning aristocracy (1800-1865) and robber barons (1870/1914).
The #robber barons scoffed at child #labor laws just like many in favor of #tax cuts for the wealthy today. It's a seedy group of people who want to go back to time of Charles Dickens and Oliver Twist. Society must invest in itself by #taxing the wealthy, it's our only option.
Relying on the wealthy to kickback money to create jobs is as likely as them volunteering to #repatriate money they have stolen away to tax #havens to avoid their responsibilities to our #Constitution. While not a# treasonable offense, it should be, #cowards of the lowest form.
The wealthy want their cake and to eat it, after they've #stolen both from the US treasury. Their excuses are legion, their lack of #allegiance is inexcusable. Whatever they say about giving back, is made a lie by their hiding so much of it. We can no longer take their #excuses.
How do we stand for their lies? The wealthy do not have our backs, they are stabbing US in them. They #flee with their bloated payouts, made possible by working US to an early grave. And they make US suckers because we trusted they would be honorable. But #thieves have no honor.
If they expect US to pay our #taxes in full, we must make the #wealthy pay all of theirs in full, plus interest, plus backpay, plus better paying jobs, and have at least the decency of a one-celled creature. #TaxHavens are created to make the wealthy untouchable, that must end!
We only lack the power to end the reign of the oligarchy because we #elected too many of the weakest and most servile of #Congress members ever to seek office. We must elect those with strong enough #spines to standup to the wealthy. We must demand it, or we'll fall farther.
Tax cuts for wealthy will never bring the jobs back we need to restart a powerful middle class #economy. When wealth #congregates at the top, wealth will continue to congregate at the top in fewer and fewer hands. Unless we stop this capture our days as free #citizens will end.
